For those of you who are considering buying boerboel.
Warning
I with several other breeders and outraged dog owners want to warn you of unscrupulous breeders who do not take care of there or other people's dogs as they are responsible for. We know ourselves from our own experience after having lent one of our top male named Alfa that some people should not have dogs. Alfa was loaned to a kennel in northern Sweden, which end in disaster. Some things we think are worth mentioning in this case is ...
- They had given away our male Alfa to a third party without our permission or knowledge.
- They allowed Alfa to go with a cruciate ligament which was completely off, in what the veterinarian can estimate was entirely up to 6 months.
- In the agreement between us and the kennel, it was decided that they would have had Alfa insured from the day they picked him. With hindsight, we know that he was not insured at all despite the lies and claims to us and the animal hospital that he has been at. This result that we had to arrange transportation home for alfa in early and pay up to 15 000 for the surgery and aftercare that the Swedish law says they should be payingfor. Quote from their answers ang payment. "Why should we pay when we gave Alfa food and warmth."
- Despite the fact that the Swedish law and Swedish rules shuld they given alfa the care he needed. "
- They did not pay the entire mating fee has reached an agreement with another male from us.
This is some of the things that have come up in with this kennel, the list goes on but we try to do this briefly for you. So this is only information from its own experience with this kennel and information from their email to us. Anyone with common sense about dogs understand that these items are big warning signs for an incredibly disreputable breeders. We therefore advise anyone to buy a puppy from there, or to sell a dog to them when you do not want to promote this type of "breeder" who only see money and do not take care of the dogs and give the care they need. This breederis now with the Swedish boerboel club as a board member which to me is frightening.
We have also received several calls from upset buyers from this kennel that is indicative of a large unseriosity and ignorance. They'll also tell you that they have been ignored and badly treated when they contacted the breeder ang problems with their dogs. They have also witnessed that the breeder uses restraining on the dogs on the daily dog walks.
Unreasonable purchase contract and obligations.
What ever the kennel you are about to purchase a boerboel puppy from you should read the purchase agreement. Dont be afraid to ask the breeder a few questions if you are unsequre. It has emerged that some breeders have completely unreasonable purchase agreement. Some totally unreasonable demands that may occur in a place like sales contract is such
- Having to aprisial the dog in ebassa, would you as a puppy buyer not do so, you are liable breeder 25 000
- That you must pennhip test the dog, would you as a puppy buyer not do so, you are liable breeder 25 000
- The breeder requires breeding on the males eaven thouge the dogs have been sold for full price. (This is similar to buying a car for the full price of a car dealer but he still has the right to use it when he is on vacation.)
Many who buy a boerboel just want to have a farm dog, guard dog or a family member without unreasonable demands and obligations. Therefore, we have no requirement for our puppy buyers more than that you should be able to have a dog in your life and be able to take care of it in the best possible way!
